They visited numerous properties, but none felt quite right. Until the moment they arrived at Matsi farm. \u201cThe moment we stepped into the yard, we didn\u2019t want to leave \u2013 there\u2019s something different about this place. It just felt like this was the one,\u201d Anne recalls.<\/p><p data-start=\"28\" data-end=\"391\">The new house at Matsi farm is based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/hildhouse.ee\/en\/paaskula-house\/\"><strong>P\u00e4\u00e4sk\u00fcla model<\/strong><\/a> by Hild House, adapted to suit the client\u2019s wishes and lifestyle. Flexibility lies at the heart of the Hild House approach: a home shouldn\u2019t be confined to predefined limits, but should evolve together with its future residents. All houses feature load-bearing exterior walls built from Bauroc 375 blocks and non-load-bearing interior walls made of gypsum board on a metal frame. Right now, we\u2019re still moving back and forth to the city, as the new house wasn\u2019t quite ready for winter living yet,\u201d Anne says.<\/p><p data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1600\">Where the old house once stood, a new one is now nearing completion. Keit recalls that the original plan was to renovate the old building \u2013 to update it as much as possible and add a new extension. However, a closer inspection revealed that the logs had little future beyond firewood.<\/p><p data-start=\"1602\" data-end=\"2001\">\u201cWe even found the \u2018cornerstone\u2019 of the house \u2013 it was inside the old foundation, right in the middle of the building. They say there\u2019s always a gold coin beneath it, but we haven\u2019t found one to this day. The stone did have the initials J and T, along with the year 1932. That sparked an interest in exploring the history of the farm. So far, we\u2019ve learned that the very first owner was named Mart.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"2003\" data-end=\"2196\">Anne adds that she cannot praise the builders enough \u2013 even the locals reportedly watched the construction process like a film or a small miracle. It turns out it\u2019s possible to build this fast.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c23a432 elementor-widget
